need advice on cleaning aquarium?
I have a 10 gallon tank and need to know the best way to clean it without hurting my fish. I’ve emptied 1/2 the water and replaced w/ clean water but it still looks like stuff floating around in it. It needs a good cleaning… should I remove my fish and take it all apart? clean my rocks and plants. I’m planning on getting a new filter too…
I’m going to university next year and the only pets that residence allows are fish and the maximum size tank they will allow is a 5 gal. I would like to get a betta fish and some other pretty fish as well to have variety, but I want to make sure I don’t overcrowd the tank. What types of fish and how many could I get?
the restrictions are a 5 gallon tank max. in residence, but I don’t know how flexible they are with that. they could be and MAYBE a 10 gallon tank might be possible
I have one male betta fish in a 10 gallon tank with an air pump, filter, and heater. What are some fish that will live with him without any problems? Please give me full, descriptive answers. That would be most appreciated.
I have a 10 gallon tank and would like to start a tropical fish tank, but I’ve only had goldfish before this. I know I have to let the tank go through a two week cycle before I put fish in it to build up the good bacteria and such, but I was wondering if there were some easy, but pretty and nice to keep, tropical fish to start out with.
