right iv decided to have a complete restart to my aquarium! i have a 4 foot long fish tank with 4 angels 7 dwarf bolivian rams 2 guppies and 1 dwarf rainbowfish i wanted to create terracing using rocks & its worked for a while but the sand has slipped and i found out today about air pockets & my sand with the rocks holding it up is 10inchesdeep at the back my java ferns arent attaching to the wood most of my Vallisneria spiralis is covered in algae the only plant that seems to be thriving r my 3 onion bulbs my sand is impossible 2 clean because the poo gets buried & when i vacuum to it half the sand is out of the tank
i want a good planted healthy aquarium so as ive said im completly ripping out my interior. i want to buy the proper juwel terracing walls (i want quite a high terracing system-any advice/opinions on that?) and then i want to get seachems flourite soil & caribseas eco soil and then hav sand back on top. shud i cycle alover agen or save the existing water
advice please!
Okay, I have a 20 gallon aquarium that has 6 adult guppies, 14 babies, and one algae eater. I breed guppies, so it gets pretty boring just watching guppies all the time. I want to get a different kind of fish to put in my tank. Any suggestions for cheap, low maintenance fish that can go with guppies? (besides goldfish and bettas) Someone please answer!

Freshwater aquarium advice needed.?
I have just set up a freshwater aquarium and do not yet have fish, however I am seeing lots of algae growing on the gravel and rocks, mainly beneath the filter outlet, after just a few weeks, is this common and what is the best way to clean this before it gets out of control? Do i need to remove the rocks and scrub them? Please provide any tips you have.
Thank you.

Freshwater Aquarium advice needed! When should I add fish?
Hi, I have just set up a 20 gallon freshwater aquarium about a month ago. I have a few plants (real) and rocks but no fish yet. I have done water changes each week (20%) and am adding cycle as directed. However I am not seeing any change in the Ammonia or Nitrite at this time, when should I expect to see it rise? I was told it will shoot up after a couple of weeks then start to come down. I am seeing algae growing on the gravel already. Also when is a good time to add fish and what types are good for beginners. Should I get something that eats algae?
Thank you.
